Our mission is to provide an outstanding education ensuring university opportunities and admission, as well as building the foundation for a rich, fulfilling, future adult life. Students at GWA-Dubai integrate into our multicultural world with ease. Unlocking and enhancing students’ academic potential is central to our mission as well as ensuring a holistic education where personal, social, emotional sporting, artistic and other extra-curricular activities are supported. Our teaching delivery and practice endorses the IBO student learner profile. GWA-Dubai offers the internationally recognized Diploma Program which enables our graduating students the option to take the higher level and standard level courses depending on whether they choose the certificate or traditional diploma programs in Grades 11-12. The Enrichment Program at GWA-Dubai offers a wide range of after school activities (ASAs) for students, led by both in-school staff and outsourced private providers. The range of choices for students rotates throughout the year and just as our students and parents change through the years, so do the many ASA options. Most important for a parent to know is that we genuinely believe that each student is unique and special. Therefore, personalized learning with individual targets and a plan for reaching them are paramount. We work in partnership with parents. Our teachers are supported with IB, GEMS, CIS and other ongoing professional development throughout the year to ensure students are provided with the latest skills and techniques in learning approaches that help students be as successful as possible.
