Enriching experiences for all ages
For us, education is about so much more than academic learning. It’s about developing our students’ talents and exploring their interests, as well as physical, emotional and social development.
With this in mind, we encourage our students to participate in a rich and diverse program of extra-curricular activities, giving them the opportunity to enrich their school experience within a safe and supportive environment.
Our expansive range of extra-curricular activities includes:
After School Activities (ASAs)
Students are given the opportunity to extend After School Activities (ASAs).
ASA program choices are developed in consultation with faculty, parents and ESM - our external provider for ASAs.
Activities run in three sessions per year, and each session typically lasts 8-10 weeks.
The activities on offer include sport, science, language, media, art and much, much more.
GEMS have engaged the services of ESM for additional activities and these will run after our free, school-based activities. Our main aim is to provide all students with the knowledge and tools to better themselves within the chosen sport or activity, with the focus on enjoyment through learning.
ESM is Dubai's leading sports training academy for both children and adults of all levels. Their programs include:
- Holiday Camps and more
Please note: The internal ASA’s are free of charge while the external ASA’s have a fee attached to them. Places are not guaranteed and are allocated if vacancies are available and on a first come, first served basis at the specific sign-up days allocated to the various schools.
