IB Bridging Programme

Join our IB Bridging Programme to transition your child to an IB Diploma

What does the IB Bridging Programme look like?

Students will have scheduled classes and assessments with teachers and Directors of Learning in each of the five or six subject areas they are interested in pursuing as part of their desired Diploma Programme. This will be an opportunity for students and teachers to gauge understanding of the requisite knowledge that is needed for the start of the Diploma Programme. In addition, teachers will be able to develop an individualised plan to help guide students towards ensuring a successful transition with understanding of content, skills, and concepts within DP courses.

Students will receive support introductory workshops for success in the IBDP core elements of CAS, TOK, and EEs along with course selection support and College and Career guidance form our College Counseling team.

New and returning GWA students will have an opportunity to build important relationships with their new peers through a series of team building exercises as well as attending our Guest Speaker series designed to motive, guide, and build the confidence of our students ahead of entering this next phase of their learning journey.
