Salma Kamel
My name is Salma Kamel and I graduated from the Academy in 2019. I joined the Academy in 2010 and completed both the MYP and the IBDP curricula. I am currently studying Economics in the University of Birmingham, Dubai. Throughout my time in the Academy I encountered a range of nationalities and diverse cultures that have allowed me to develop an international mindset and learn how to respect different perspectives. The IB DP was an intense and rigorous course but the teachers in the Academy were a great support system and were always there to help when I needed it. Ms. Rania, Mr. Kinkead and Mr. Smith especially, were an incredible team that helped me get through these years and never failed to guide me throughout any academic or even personal issues.
