Outstanding 2020-21 IB Results

We are delighted to share the remarkable results achieved by the Senior Class of 2020 in the IB Diploma and IB Courses.

Graduates of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at GEMS World Academy - Dubai performed extremely well with the average score being an outstanding 36 points, well above the world average score of 29.9, and two points higher than our previous average. Further to this, 89% of our students received results above the world average, with 13% of our students receiving scores above 40 points. Overall, our Senior Class achieved a phenomenal pass rate of 100%

We are incredibly proud of the students and their teachers, as despite it being a uniquely challenging year, they have recorded the best results ever achieved at GEMS World Academy - Dubai.

Of this cohort, four students had been at GEMS World Academy - Dubai since we opened 12 years ago, their whole academic career, receiving an average of 38 points. We will be sharing stories of individual student accomplishments over the coming weeks, so please do ensure you join us to share in their success.
 
In the previous 5 years GEMS World Academy - Dubai has raised the average IB result from 30 to 36. The outstanding position we are in as an Academy is a testament to the exceptional leadership of our departing Head of School, Stuart Walker, and his team.
