Swimming Curriculum and Squads

We have our own unique, skill-based swimming curriculum for Elementary students. Our Secondary lessons study a swimming unit as part of their IB course.

Elementary and Secondary students will represent their House and participate in House Competitions throughout the academic year, including House Swimming and an Aquathlon  competition.

Our school is continuing to grow our competitive swimming squads; the squad has grown to over 200 swimmers. The squad is already one of the strongest school teams in Dubai, after much success in various leagues and competitions, both in and around the region. The Elementary squad compete in Division 1 of the Dubai Swimming League and are the reigning champions of the GEMS Global Swim Cup. The Secondary squad compete in the EAC and NESAC league and were the runners up in the GEMS Global Swim Cup in 2017.

The swimming squads train under the guidance of our coaches in our 50m 6-lane pool (under refurbishment). There is also a 15m training pool used for the younger students for curriculum swimming lessons.
