حول برنامج ريادة الأعمال والابتكار والتأثير الاجتماعي
يتمثل الهدف من وجودنا هنا في تطوير عقلية ريادة الأعمال لدى الطلاب، وتشجيعهم على الابتكار من أجل إحداث تأثير اجتماعي إيجابي.
يأتي التزامنا في صميم رسالتنا الجوهرية في أكاديمية جيمس العالمية - دبي، حيث يتمثل في إنشاء قادة يتخذون الاستفسار والتأمّل والاهتمام منهجًا لهم، والذين سيتخرجون من أكاديميتنا وهم مزودون بالمعرفة والمهارة والشخصية اللازمة للعمل وبناء عالم أفضل وأكثر سلامًا.
في ظل عالم متغير باستمرار، يتمثل دورنا في الوقت الحالي في إعداد طلابنا للعالم الذي ينتظرهم، ففي عالم الغد، تزداد إلى حدٍ كبير احتمالية لجوء طلاب اليوم إلى إنشاء مشروعاتهم الخاصة، حيث إن 65 في المائة من الوظائف التي سيشغلونها بعد التخرج غير موجودة حاليًا. وليس بإمكاننا إعدادهم لوظائف غير موجودة حتى الآن، لذا فنحن هنا لإكسابهم المرونة وقابلية التكيف في مواجهة التحولات الكبيرة.

سيواجه الطلاب عالمًا يتغير باستمرار ويتطلب المرونة والإبداع والتعاون وسرعة الاستجابة للتأقلم مع هذا التغيير السريع. وعلى نحو متزايد، سيلزم ذلك طلابنا بالتفكير مثلما يفكر رواد الأعمال، أي تحويل عقليتهم للتركيز على "معرفة المشكلات التي تواجه العالم ويرغبون في إيجاد حل لها" بدلًا من "تحديد الوظيفة التي يرغبون في شغلها في المستقبل".

As the Centre of Excellence for Entrepreneurship and Youth Start-ups within GEMS Education we are incorporating these areas into the every-day life of each and every student starting from KG1 – Grade 12.
The Academy is seamlessly integrating these topics into the curriculum to build a culture of innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial mind-set in all students. We are here to ensure that we are offering students at GEMS World Academy - Dubai every opportunity to develop in these three pillars.
We embed entrepreneurship into the curriculum from KG1 to Grade 12
How are these pillars linked? We see them as follows:
- Entrepreneurship is the development of key life skills
- Innovation is a mind-set
- Environmentalism and social impact are guiding principles
The Hub is an incubator for students’ ideas, offering mentoring opportunities, exposure to entrepreneurs and innovators, annual competitions and a hub for collaboration with the ultimate goal of developing and graduating students ready for the world that awaits them.
